Oho, soon.
This is the 307th post, and the first for the month of August. This means I've been writing blog posts for roughly twelve months, and it's just 49 posts till I have a whole year's worth, one per day. Jeebus, it's always vaguely surprising thinking back to just how much pointless crap I've written, dang. At any rate - talking about today. I had a relatively quiet morning since I decided to sleep in for a bit as I had no pressing reason to get up. Once several hours had passed from the point of me waking up I figured I had nothing to lose by getting out of bed, so did so. I had more than adequate time to watch anime, so prompty didn't since I didn't feel like watching it in the morning. Instead I started listening to more music, and did so for several hours. I found three torrents which when combined yielded 1,250 OC-Remixes of game music from a huge variety of games. Even after several hours I'd only managed to listen to around 60 or so, so there's definitely a lot left to listen to. Some are god damn fastastic, though since I was reading manga away from the computer I didn't really catch the song names. I'm sure I'll get back to them eventually. Once it got to the mid-afternoon I decided I may as well go to Games Workshop an hour early, as I didn't feel like doing much else.
Once I got there it was the usual socialising and so forth, and happy hugs when my girlfriend turned up. She'd bought a new top and curled her hair, and looked absolutely freanking stunning. I mean, 'damn'. We were both in the main Inquisitor game which lasted ages, since it was still going on when I left at 10.05 pm, though slightly nearer the end since so many people were badly injured. Though my character had died last week, I was given another on the opposite side, so was working for the guy that had infected and interrogated my ex-character. How odd. I was in charge of the character he'd been using in the previous games, whilst he took charge of his actual main character for a change. The game didn't go too well whilst I was around. The new side I was on got shot and hacked to pieces for minimal loss in return, since my old side have rather good people, even if they are outnumbered. The character I controlled constantly failed psychic tests and partially melted his own brain three times, but got the information needed in the end. I had to leave before the figure I controlled could escape, so I'm not too sure what happened to it. On the plus side switching sides did allow me to be on the same side as my girlfriend, so I was a lot more content for most of the game.
Once I got home I updated the Soul Society forum, then decided to watch the anime at last. I got through Ouran High School Host Club, Kiba, Honey & Clover II, Zegapain, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Ah! My Goddess second season updates before I had to come here to post this. Ouran had lots more background information on the guy with glasses, the one who truly runs the Host Club. An interesting character indeed, since he makes himself out to be egoistic, but in reality is helpful to others. Kiba had the insane princess actually die by the end which was good, but Amil Gaoul, the powerful shard spirit Zed can't control, made a flashy appearance. How nifty. In Honey & Clover II, several of the characters managed to admit small things to themselves, and the most notable was one of the girls who admitted to herself that she likes a guy who wants to be with her, which was hard to do since she still loves a friend who rejected her since he loves someone else. Zegapain had more of the anti-Zega which was frankly just cool really. In Higurashi there was fingernail removing. Hmm. Ah! My Goddess was a good episode too, since it showed some of Urd's past with the Troubadour, a slightly (i.e. very) manipulative Demi-God. More Urd is always a good thing. I still have two episodes of Kamisama Kazoku to watch, as well as an episode of Inukami. As such I'm off to watch them now. Till next time.
